Ways we can work together

Single-session therapy, online therapy, and short or long-term counselling to suit your individual needs. I draw on different approaches, including Person-centred, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic, Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Creative interventions, so our work fits you rather than the other way around.

Every option starts with a free, optional 20-minute telephone consultation. It is a relaxed chance to explore how counselling could help and to ask any questions, before you decide on anything.

Online Therapy

Whether you are based in the UK or overseas, online therapy lets us meet at a time that suits you, from wherever you feel most at ease. It is just as effective as meeting in person, with none of the travel.

Who it suits: A good fit if you would rather talk from home, live abroad, or need the flexibility to fit sessions around work and family.

Single-Session Therapy

One focused session where you bring whatever you need help or guidance with. These sessions work much like life coaching, staying in the here and now, and we work together toward a realistic, useful outcome in the time we have.

Who it suits: A good fit if there is one particular thing on your mind and you want a single, dedicated conversation rather than ongoing weekly sessions.

Transitional Life Coaching

As a certified life coach I specialise in life's transitions, helping you move through change with confidence, clarity and purpose. Together we uncover what is holding you back, build a roadmap forward, and take intentional steps toward the life you want.

Who it suits: A good fit if you are navigating a career shift, a relationship change, or simply feeling stuck, and you want practical, forward-looking support.

£70 / session, 4-session minimum

Your Counselling Session

During your sessions, we will work together to understand what is bringing you to counselling and what you would like to achieve.

Sessions last 60 minutes and take place on a regular basis, usually weekly for the first 6 weeks. This consistency helps build trust and allows us to work more effectively together over time.

Counselling is a collaborative process. My role is to support you, listen to you, and help you move towards greater understanding, resilience, self-awareness and wellbeing.

I adhere to the BACP Ethical Framework for good practice, and work with adults over the age of 18.

What I can help with

As an integrative counsellor, I draw on different approaches, which gives me the flexibility to work with a wide range of issues. These are some of the things people bring to our sessions:

Two open hands cupped gently around a single yellow flower
  • Stress
  • Anxiety
  • Depression
  • Painful childhood experiences
  • Low self-esteem
  • Rejection
  • Loss and bereavement
  • Social anxiety
  • Chronic illness and pain
  • Divorce and separation
  • Loneliness
  • Emotional abuse
  • Parenting support
  • Relationship problems
  • Spirituality, faith and culture
  • Difficult life transitions
  • Understanding Alzheimer's disease
  • Shame and guilt
  • Stress management
  • Neurodivergence (including ADHD and autism)
  • OCD and intrusive thoughts
  • Identity and purpose
  • Difficult family dynamics
  • Menopause

Some of what people bring is especially painful to talk about. I also work, gently and at your pace, with sexual abuse and with self-harm and suicidal thoughts. You never have to have the words ready before you reach out.

If you are in crisis or need urgent help right now, please contact the Samaritans free on 116 123, call 111, or in an emergency call 999.

You don't have to have everything figured out before reaching out.

Choose a time that suits you and take that first step. If it feels easier, you can start with a free 20-minute telephone consultation, a simple, no-pressure conversation to help you decide what's right for you.
