Online counselling

Counselling for rejection

I offer online counselling for rejection to adults across the UK, by video call or telephone. Sessions last 60 minutes and cost £60, and the first step is a free 20 minute consultation.

Whether it's recent or something that's followed you for years, the pain of rejection can cut deep. Counselling offers a space to process it honestly and move forward. I'm Rowena, a BACP-registered counsellor working with adults across the UK, online.

You don't have to carry this on your own.

Rejection hurts in a very particular way. Whether it came from a relationship ending, being left out, passed over, or simply not chosen, it can shake our confidence in ourselves and make us wary of putting ourselves forward again.

For many people, rejection doesn't just sting in the moment. It confirms something they already feared about themselves. Counselling helps you separate the story from the fact, and begin to understand rejection as part of experience rather than as a verdict on your worth.

I work gently and collaboratively, at a pace that feels right for you. We'll look at where this pain sits, what it connects to, and what might help you move forward without shutting parts of yourself down.

You might recognise some of these

  • Replaying painful rejections long after they happened
  • Fear of putting yourself forward in case you're turned away
  • Taking rejection much harder than you feel you should
  • Withdrawing from relationships to avoid being hurt
  • Feeling fundamentally unlovable or unwanted
  • Difficulty recovering after a relationship ends

Wherever you are in the UK, sessions take place online by video call or telephone, so we can meet at a time and in a space that feels right for you. Each session lasts 60 minutes, usually weekly for the first six weeks to help build a trusting working relationship.

I work with adults aged 18 and over and follow the BACP Ethical Framework for good practice.

Hi, I'm Rowena, an integrative counsellor in Surrey. I work with adults who are facing a wide range of challenges, whether it's anxiety, relationship struggles, feeling stuck, or navigating grief and loss. Life can feel overwhelming sometimes, especially when you're trying to push through alone. I offer a safe, confidential space where you can pause, be heard, and begin to make sense of what you're feeling.

As an integrative counsellor, I don't believe one size fits all. I draw on different approaches to shape our sessions around what works best for you.

As well as being a counsellor, I'm also a certified transitional life coach, and I help people navigate life's changes with clarity, courage, and confidence. Whether you're stepping into the unknown or stepping up into your full potential, I offer one-to-one coaching tailored to your unique journey.

So, if you're going through a life transition that I can help you with, contact me today to book your free 20 minute discovery call. Let's get you to a place of clarity, confidence, and moving forward.

You don't have to have everything figured out before reaching out.

Choose a time that suits you and take that first step. If it feels easier, you can start with a free 20-minute telephone consultation, a simple, no-pressure conversation to help you decide what's right for you.
