Online counselling

Counselling for anxiety

I offer online counselling for anxiety to adults across the UK, by video call or telephone. Sessions last 60 minutes and cost £60, and the first step is a free 20 minute consultation.

If anxiety has started shaping your days, the racing thoughts, the broken sleep, the quiet sense that something isn't quite right, counselling can help you find your footing again. I'm Rowena, a BACP-registered integrative counsellor working with adults across the UK, online.

You don't have to carry this on your own.

Anxiety can feel like the volume of life has been turned up too high. The mind races ahead to worst-case scenarios, the body braces for danger that may never come, and even ordinary moments can feel laced with unease.

For many people, life looks calm from the outside while quietly being held together with effort. Counselling offers a space to set that effort down and be properly heard, without judgement, without rushing to fix.

As an integrative counsellor, I draw on different approaches depending on what you bring. Sometimes that means gently exploring where anxiety first took root. Sometimes it means working in the here and now with practical tools for the moments it overwhelms you.

You might recognise some of these

  • Persistent worry that's hard to switch off
  • Difficulty sleeping or staying asleep
  • A racing heart, tight chest, or restless body
  • Avoiding situations that used to feel manageable
  • Feeling on edge or easily overwhelmed
  • Difficulty focusing or making decisions

Wherever you are in the UK, sessions take place online by video call or telephone, so we can meet at a time and in a space that feels right for you. Each session lasts 60 minutes, usually weekly for the first six weeks to help build a trusting working relationship.

I work with adults aged 18 and over and follow the BACP Ethical Framework for good practice.

Hi, I'm Rowena, an integrative counsellor in Surrey. I work with adults who are facing a wide range of challenges, whether it's anxiety, relationship struggles, feeling stuck, or navigating grief and loss. Life can feel overwhelming sometimes, especially when you're trying to push through alone. I offer a safe, confidential space where you can pause, be heard, and begin to make sense of what you're feeling.

As an integrative counsellor, I don't believe one size fits all. I draw on different approaches to shape our sessions around what works best for you.

As well as being a counsellor, I'm also a certified transitional life coach, and I help people navigate life's changes with clarity, courage, and confidence. Whether you're stepping into the unknown or stepping up into your full potential, I offer one-to-one coaching tailored to your unique journey.

So, if you're going through a life transition that I can help you with, contact me today to book your free 20 minute discovery call. Let's get you to a place of clarity, confidence, and moving forward.

You don't have to have everything figured out before reaching out.

Choose a time that suits you and take that first step. If it feels easier, you can start with a free 20-minute telephone consultation, a simple, no-pressure conversation to help you decide what's right for you.
