Online counselling

Counselling for stress management

I offer online counselling for stress management to adults across the UK, by video call or telephone. Sessions last 60 minutes and cost £60, and the first step is a free 20 minute consultation.

Stress management isn't just about tips and techniques. It's about understanding what drives your stress and building a more sustainable relationship with it. I'm Rowena, a BACP-registered integrative counsellor supporting adults across the UK, online.

You don't have to carry this on your own.

When life feels relentlessly demanding, we often reach for quick fixes: more organisation, better time management, another productivity app. But chronic stress usually has deeper roots, in what we believe we have to achieve, in old patterns of people-pleasing, or in lives that simply have too much in them.

Counselling for stress management goes beyond the surface. We look at what's really driving the pressure, the internal rules, the perfectionism, the difficulty saying no, and begin to address those rather than just the symptoms.

We might also explore practical approaches to managing your nervous system and building genuine rest into your life. The goal is a different relationship with stress, not just better tools for managing it.

You might recognise some of these

  • Feeling permanently on edge or in survival mode
  • Difficulty prioritising or feeling everything is equally urgent
  • Physical symptoms of chronic stress such as tension, headaches, or fatigue
  • Difficulty delegating or asking for help
  • Guilt when you rest or take time for yourself
  • A sense that you are defined by your productivity

Wherever you are in the UK, sessions take place online by video call or telephone, so we can meet at a time and in a space that feels right for you. Each session lasts 60 minutes, usually weekly for the first six weeks to help build a trusting working relationship.

I work with adults aged 18 and over and follow the BACP Ethical Framework for good practice.

Hi, I'm Rowena, an integrative counsellor in Surrey. I work with adults who are facing a wide range of challenges, whether it's anxiety, relationship struggles, feeling stuck, or navigating grief and loss. Life can feel overwhelming sometimes, especially when you're trying to push through alone. I offer a safe, confidential space where you can pause, be heard, and begin to make sense of what you're feeling.

As an integrative counsellor, I don't believe one size fits all. I draw on different approaches to shape our sessions around what works best for you.

As well as being a counsellor, I'm also a certified transitional life coach, and I help people navigate life's changes with clarity, courage, and confidence. Whether you're stepping into the unknown or stepping up into your full potential, I offer one-to-one coaching tailored to your unique journey.

So, if you're going through a life transition that I can help you with, contact me today to book your free 20 minute discovery call. Let's get you to a place of clarity, confidence, and moving forward.

You don't have to have everything figured out before reaching out.

Choose a time that suits you and take that first step. If it feels easier, you can start with a free 20-minute telephone consultation, a simple, no-pressure conversation to help you decide what's right for you.
